A semi-aniline buffalo leather that is tumbled by hand to create its distinctive crushed texture and subtle two-tone effect. Its irregular surface adds depth and gives each piece a tactile, sculptural character.

Variations in texture and colour are a natural result of this artisanal process and make every bag unique.

Each LIHANN GEORGE piece is crafted in small quantities by skilled artisans, with close attention to proportion, construction and finishing.

Our leathers are developed in close collaboration with the atelier and tannery, rather than selected from a standard catalogue. This considered process gives each material its distinctive colour, texture and character.

As a result, subtle variations in colour, grain and finish may occur between production batches. These variations are a natural part of the process and should not be considered imperfections, but rather part of what makes every piece unique.

Designed to be used and lived with, the leather will soften and develop a distinctive patina over time.

Our semi-aniline leather is a natural material that requires no regular treatment or additional care products.

If the leather becomes wet, gently remove any excess moisture with a clean, dry cloth and allow the piece to dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat and do not rub the surface.

With use, the leather will gradually soften and develop a distinctive patina. These natural changes add depth and character, allowing each piece to become more personal and beautiful over time.

If you wish to refresh the colour, a small amount of colour-matched shoe polish may be applied. Always test it first on a discreet area and buff the leather thoroughly with a clean, soft cloth to remove any excess product and prevent colour transfer onto clothing.
